Olga is a Certified Legal Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization. She focuses her practice on preserving and protecting assets for all clients, including both high net worth individuals and middle-income families where long-term health care costs exhaust the corpus of the estate. Olga has also successfully litigated both trust and probate disputes, and has administered complex trusts that include business entities and foreign beneficiaries. She represents financial institutions, private fiduciaries, business owners, and beneficiaries.
Most recently, Olga was named as a 2018 Super Lawyer and was one of the Top 50 lawyers in the 2017 San Diego Super Lawyers List, an honor reserved for those lawyers who exhibit excellence in practice. She also received the Service to Diversity Award of 2016 by the San Diego County Bar Association for her longstanding commitment to the San Diego community. She was named a Women Who Mean Business award winner for 2015 by the San Diego Business Journal and was named a 2015 and 2016 finalist for the San Diego Magazine’s Women of the Year. She has received the San Diego Business Journal’s “Best of the Bar” designation in the areas of trusts, estate, probate and business for the past three years. Additionally, she was named a Top Attorney in Trusts and Estates by the San Diego Daily Transcript in 2015 and 2012, one of San Diego’s Best Attorneys in 2015 and 2013 by San Diego Metro Magazine, and San Diego Magazine’s Top Attorney in 2017 and 2018.

She is a member of the California State Bar Trusts and Estates section, the California Advocates for Nursing Home Reform and the San Diego County Bar Association’s Estate Planning, Trust & Probate and Elder Law sections.
Olga serves as President of Lawyers Club of San Diego, a specialty Bar Association committed to the advancement of women in the law and society. She has conducted seminars on family estate planning, charitable gift annuities, the fundamentals of elder law, and the critical role of powers of attorney. She has also served as a member of the State Bar of California’s Speakers Bureau for Elder Financial Abuse: “Identification and Prevention Program” as well as other non-profit boards in Balboa Park.
Her previous experience includes practice in the area of immigration and general civil litigation in addition to working abroad at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City. Olga is fluent in conversational Spanish.
A graduate of the University of San Diego, School of Law, Olga was inducted to the Order of the Barrister for her outstanding oral advocacy skills. She is a recipient of the Statue of Justice from the Order of the Barrister for her leadership as Chair of the Appellate Moot Court Board, and has been recognized as an Outstanding Volunteer by the Board as well. While in law school, she was also an inductee of Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity.
A native of Texas, Olga received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin in biology and a Masters of Public Affairs from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs.
